The Products Without Indexed Data report shows products that have no recorded data of the type you select from the following:
Hazard Ratings
Locations
Ingredients
Hazard Classifications
Among other product identification, the report output shows the file number of each product without data. When you generate the report output, you are given a link to look up products by file number; you can enter the file numbers from the report to quickly open and view these products. If you have administrative permission to edit product data, this may aid the process of recording the missing data for each product in the report.
The report output can be generated in any of the following formats: HTML, PDF (requires a PDF-viewing tool, such as Adobe Reader), or Excel (requires Microsoft Excel).
To run the Products Without Indexed Data report:
Starting at the Reports page
In the list of Product Reports, click Products without indexed data.
The Products Without Indexed Data Report page opens, showing the options available for this report.
In the Report output menu, select the desired format for the report output.
To include products no longer used (archived products) in the report output, select Include products no longer used.
Note: If you select this option, each archived product in the report output will be marked with a red asterisk (*).
Under Select the missing index to search, select one of the displayed data types. The report output will show only products that have no recorded data of the selected type.
Click Generate Report in the upper right.
The report output generates according to your chosen options and opens in a new window in the selected format. Your main browser window shows a File Number Lookup link.
Optional: Click the File Number Lookup link if you want to open any products by file number (shown in the report output's File Number column). If you have administrative permission to edit product data, this may be a useful way to open each product from the report output and enter its missing data.
